There's something about the classic peanut butter and jelly combo that takes me back to my childhood, especially those endless summer days when my friends and I would play outside until the streetlights came on. We’d run into the kitchen to whip up a quick PB&J sandwich, often with more peanut butter and jelly smeared on our faces than on the bread. My friend Kate's mom had a knack for making the best ones, and I remember how we'd sit on her porch steps, the summer heat wrapping around us like a warm hug as we'd indulge in our sticky, sweet sandwiches. Mver, the addition of chia seeds adds a fun texture and a boost of omega-3s and fiber, making these oats not only delicious but also a powerhouse of nutrients. Raspberry jam and almond butter make for a great variation.

The combination of peanut butter and jelly created a delightful balance that was both filling and delicious, ideal for kids and adults alike.
